Los Alamos High School (LAPS) students Karl Sinkula and Emma Frost had the honor of participating in the 2022 Model International Criminal Court in Krzyzowa, Poland earlier this month. The two were selected along with eight other students from Santa Fe and Albuquerque for the program sponsored by New Mexico Human Rights Project (NMHRP).

Two students – Yunseo Kim and Violet Henderson, both juniors at Los Alamos High School – attended the 17th Model International Criminal Court (MICC) November 16–21.

Eight high school students from New Mexico were the only Americans who participated in the recent and esteemed Model International Criminal Court (MICC) mock trials in Europe. The MICC is a simulation of the International Criminal Court. They were selected by New Mexico Human Rights Projects (www.nmhrp.org), the one organization in the U.S. invited to attend and send students.
